Welcome to Dr. Chiasson's Pediatric OT Toolbox Center, where compassionate care meets expertise in pediatric occupational therapy. As a dedicated Doctor of Occupational Therapy, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a personal commitment to enhancing the lives of children facing developmental challenges.
Originating from Port Neches, Texas, my journey in education and occupational therapy has been one driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence. I embarked on my academic endeavors at Baylor University, where I earned a Bachelor's of Science in education with a minor in American Sign Language.
I then pursued my Master's in Occupational Therapy at the esteemed University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Recognizing the transformative potential of continued education, I dedicated an additional two years at UTMB to attain my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
I have been practicing clinician for 4 years now with a specialized focus on working with children with autism, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, and more, I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development. My journey is deeply rooted in a personal background, having a younger brother with Autism, which has fueled my unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
At the Pediatric OT Toolbox Center, every child is unique, and my approach is tailored to meet individual needs. Through evidence-based interventions and a holistic perspective, I strive to empower children to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. Whether addressing sensory issues, fine motor skills, or cognitive challenges, I am committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care. Some of my services are listed above but there are many others we can target together in our intervention sessions pending your child's needs.
